Canova Hall is undoubtedly the most fashionable new restaurant in Brixton. Once a prosperous post office, this one-of-a-kind building has now become a stylish and elegant 21st century Gatsby restaurant.
The food is good and the cocktails served are sexy. Canova Hall directly makes comfort food simple. Guaranteed satisfaction and my goodness food, there are many choices-breakfast, lunch, dinner, weekend brunch, and even takeaway. Restaurant
is deeply influenced by the Italian style, making full use of the wood-burning oven to bake fresh pizzas and share dishes.
Naturally, we selected a few brunch-style dishes and some side dishes for ourselves, among them the Rigatoni is the most attractive star, the simmered veal is surrounded by buttered rigatoni and finally sprinkled with lots of Parmesan cheese. Their buttermilk fried chicken is crispy and tender, and it’s delicious when dipped in tangy mustard. But we don’t need watermelon, we don’t have time to eat that hiss. On the
side, Canova Hall’s Mint and Pecorino crochettas just weaken anyone’s knees. I mean come on, who doesn’t like fried nuggets stuffed with hot sticky cheese? In another round sir, the focaccia is equally delicious, also pecorino shavings, fresh lemon, sweet red onion, and delicious pot butter (yes, pot). What a shameless little number. Lastly, if there are no standard triple cooked fries with spicy “Ndjua ketchup”, the meal will not be complete. Wonderful things and all these delicious foods should be washed down with some refreshing cocktails. This place is definitely a big hit. The idea behind
FoodPunk is to showcase the delicious food that London must offer, whether it’s to go to different restaurants, eat at a food market or search for some hidden gems in the city center. Regardless of how it looks and tastes, I want to scream and get people involved, taste delicious food, and see some hot spots.
